GUEST ROOMS presents work by contemporary artists through different spatial and social contexts.
GUEST ROOMS attempts to deal with and discuss the ambiguity of real life spaces as potential art networking sites addressing various traditions of exhibition making including an illustrious show ‘Chambres d’Amis’ (Rooms of Friends) in Belgian city of Gent curated by Jan Hoet, that placed art works within 58 private homes to “evade the overwhelming nature of large, prestigious exhibitions by cutting the museum to pieces and scattering it all over town”.
Founded in 2017, GUEST ROOMS launched within one of the private spaces in Amsterdam and later unfolded in Brussels ●
In 2018 GUEST ROOMS starts operating as a publishing platform.
