CALL IT A YEAR

GOODBYE 2020
Ā· Dec 31, 2020

Hereā€™s to 2020 marked with outbursts of the unknown and the struggle to remain visible when pressed to online encounters. We would not be able to say farewell without acknowledging all the artists and contributors.

Inside Job (Ula Lucińska, Michał Knychaus), The Dull Flame of Desire, laser cut aluminum, steel, oil paint, spray paint, epoxy resin, linen, steel wire, textiles, rubber cable, off-site intervention, Meteorite Park Morasko, Poznań, 2020.
Courtesy the artists.

We have released a bunch of great contributions reflecting on confinement with work by DĆ©bora Delmar, Kornelia Dzikowska, Olga Hohmann, Delphine Deguislage, Agnieszka Mastalerz, LĆ©a PorrĆ©, and Stan Dā€™Haene.
We have ā€˜visitedā€™ exhibitions such as Zuzanna Czebatulā€™s The Signing Dunes at CAC ā€” la synagogue de Delme, Kvartirnik at 10xx in Vienna, Garden Cult Triennale in Sopot, an online project Solidarity and Agency, and The Room of Lyolya Yefremova in Kyiv. We have released the studio visit series with Relax Revolution Movement by Alfa Omegi, Window Which Is Looking by Natalia Karczewska and Amalgamate by Sławomir Pawszak.

Furthermore, we have featured an interview with Przemek Pyszczek, an artist dialogue on Lisa Kuglitsch in words by Alexandra Phillips, Tom Laverā€™s text on Reinis Lismanis, a text on work by Ukrainian duo Viktor and Sergiy Kochetov by Alex Fisher who joined our team (!), and his review Waking Rest on the exhibition curated by Nikita Kadan and Clemens Poole. We also released two notes regarding recent projects by Sergey Shabohin and Ala Savashevich and we will follow up with more material such as this one.

And The Dull Flames of Desire by the Inside Job duo marked our special feature this year.

Weā€™re excited to bring the new in 2021, so please bear with us.

Yours truly
